This painting represents the current war between Israel and Gaza. The Divide is the large white space in the middle representing each person's idea of peace. The dots are the same colours on both sides because even though the sides disagree, they are still people and no matter what they look like, they are more similar than they realize. All people have been hurt before, have loved ones, and even though nobody is the exact same, they can relate to one another and find a way, even if it's hard. We all share the same planet and breathe the same air and in the end the dots in my painting represent people made in God's image. The dots also represent the outsiders who aren't participating in the war but have an opinion - that includes you and me. War causes divisions and if we saw it through the eyes of God, there would be no war.
